Looking for paarts to backdate heat
I have a 1980 SC that needs heat exchangers replaced, I would also like to back date the heat and eliminate the rear blower. Would any one have the duct work used? It seems kind of expensive to buy new.
Thanks, Bernie P |

Check out some of the salvage places advertised in the back of Excellence. I think I paid around $60 for mine. I had to sand blast and repaint, but looks great for cheap.

Yep, you should be able to find most of that stuff used. Some left side engine take-offs are too fat and will not accommodate your distributor. A "turbo" one does fit.
You're doing the right thing!

BernieP,
I have an extra left-side duct if you are interested. As superman said, it will need to be massaged a little to fit behind your dizzy, but alot cheaper/easier to find than the turbo piece. Let me know if you are interested.
