L and R door handles, same parts?

Obviously the handles are stamped "L" and "R". 1985 911 coupe
I disassembled them and not sure if I put the parts into the same handle they were taken out of.

there are a few slight differences in the "trigger" mechanism parts, spring rod and lever. (Red Circled)

Picture #3 also shows differences in the door release lever.

Would having these parts assembled in the wrong side handle make a difference and not function properly?
