Dash separating please help!!!
 

I have an 1982 Porsche SC I had the dash recovered in leather last year. Put it away for the winter and its been slowly seperating from the dashboard. It stays in the garage only driven on weekends. pulled it out for the first time in a while and now its really bad. don't want to use the shop again since they haven't done it right the first time. will post pics tomor. was thinking of putting a towel over the dash and trying to use a steamer to reactivate the glue. and then putting something heavy on it to see if it holds. any suggestions

Steaming will stretch the leather.
