Where are the LA Porsche guys today?
I'm in LA for one day today, all the way from British Columbia. I brought my 996.
Currently sat at the Country Mart in Malibu. Where are you guys congregating? Last edited by jwetering; 08-07-2022 at 09:19 AM.. |

There were a lot of events yesterday, FinishLine was featuring Porsche, so it was packed, Enderle, South OC cars and coffee, and many others. Today there was Sunday Steel down in OC, Georges Burgers, and some others. Often there are so many events it is hard to keep track. They have been working very hard to shut down Sunday in Malibu, implementing a completely closed lot except for required Valet parking, so I imagine that is why you may have been alone there today. Ask ahead of time on various forums and I'm sure you will get many responses on what is going on the weekend you are showing up.

Thanks guys.
There was some action at the Mart, but yes, muted. I connected with a guy in a built e30 and he led me through the canyons at 8/10 so made out OK.then I hit the Petersen. Truth is I've seen so many Porsches in my life that I need to see and do something different once in a while. Cheers guys, you got this car culture done pretty good down here.

I can only imagine what it's like down there. I would probably not want to leave, ever.

Yea, the PCH is pretty cool, but maddening too, timing helps. Soooo many other roads just within CA though, even just between LA and SF! Nor Cal and north? I need to go, but it looks like there is a lot to explore.
