Fuel Injectors for '84 Carrera

Hello Everyone,

Is our only recourse for fuel injectors for an 84 911 is to have them rebuilt?
Or can we buy them new from some where?

Thanks in advance.
LE

Edit: Has anyone ever tried using a fuel injector from a different brand car. The reason I ask is because I have used, successfully, speed and crank sensors from an '86 Ford Taurus on my 911.

You mean cleaned, right? No "rebuilder" has the capability to totally open an injector and replace parts. They simply just clean them under high pressure.

Ok, I'll go with that, "Clean".

Hi TargaMe- I did purchase the Five0 Motorsports set (which has gotten good reviews on this forum) I have not installed them yet, but looking forward to reporting my results. I will say that Five0 was very quick in shipping and very responsive to my questions.

Hope this helps!

I would go with cleaning them. I bought the Five-O injectors and removed them because they flow quite a bit more fuel than the factory ones. The oxygen sensor may be able to compensate for the extra flow to a certain point but dumping unneeded fuel in the engine is never a good thing.
