Grease between trailing arm and spring plate?

Is it okay to grease this interface to allow easier adjustment of toe in and camber?
And if i change toe in, how much will camber change?

Grease will attract dirt, and I doubt it would do much good as the rubber bushings are vulcanized to the faces of both plates to some degree. As for the latter half of your question I'm not sure...

He wants to grease between the plates, so that when he twists the eccentric the corresponding plates fan out easier or change the ride height. But I think most of the stiction (I know that's not a real word) is coming from the face of the rubber bushing binding against the plate face as intended.

i thought that the grease might make it easier turning the toe and camber eccentrics to adjust. There are no bushings between the spring plate and the trailing arm, its just flat (rusty) metal on flat (rusty) metal.
And the old rubber bushings were not vulcanised to anything. Not the car, not the spring plate, not the torsion bar cover, nor the trailing arm. They all popped out. But then i have a '65.
