CIS Experts in Bay Area
I would gratefully like to hear recommendations for shops in the S.F. Bay Area that are expert at diagnosing and fixing CIS related problems. I’ve already had extensive and very-expensive service from two reputable shops (yes, they are both reputable…trust me on that) but problems remain in spite of a new air box, new ox sensor, rebuilt WUR, all new injector seals and various seals, boots, hoses and other misc. parts to correct vacuum leaks, along with countless hours of testing and diagnosis.
I’m looking for someone to do a professional, thorough analysis to find the (hopefully simple) problem(s) others have so far missed. East Bay preferred, but I’m interested in anyone with a great reputation. Thanks P.S. The car is an ‘81 SC Last edited by MichaelN; 08-24-2022 at 12:11 PM.. |

There are probably more CIS experts here on Pelican than at any shop in the world, why not give the collective brain trust a shot at the problem. Best part is that it’s free

I would suggest Holleran's Performance in Auburn. John is the best I have found in 40+ years of Porsche ownership. His shop is always full of beautiful air cooled cars- his chosen speciality. He takes care of my car.
