915 Guard LSD Ring Gear Bolts - Longer Options? Aftermarket?

Hoping to get some help here from folks who have installed the Guard LSD in a 915.

While mocking up the Guard LSD for my 77 915, found out I will need longer ring gear bolts. Gave Matt from Guard a call and confirmed there is a specific LSD bolt set I can buy from Porsche but he couldn't remember the exact part number and silly me I forgot to write down the number he thought it could be and I don't want to keep bothering him haha.

Looks like the ideal length would be around 25mm but I can't find any Porsche ring gear bolts that are 12x25mm long. The closest I could find is 928 332 276 03 which is 12x21mm for the stock LSD and should work for a 77 915.

Stock open diff bolts are 16mm and far too short.

Are there any 25mm options on the market people have used? I looked on ARPs site and couldn't find anything. There's lots of room so if I can get a 4mm more thread to bite per bolt, would be great.

Some pics of a stock bolt mocked up to the guard unit, stock bolt length, and length I'd like to get. any guidance is appreciated!

It would be no bother if you rang me again. While I’m one of those people whose tone and affect always sounds pissed off, I’m usually not.

Our ring gear flange on the LSD is the exact same thickness as a factory LSD. Our parts are designed as a direct replacement to a factory LSD and installation is exactly the same. The 21mm bolts are long enough. The risk you run with going longer is bottoming out and not being able to get proper torque.

Thanks Matt, I appreciate the response and all the input you provide on here 👍

FYI - any threads above six are adding nothing.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1661575847.jpg

I vaguely recall getting 928 part numbered bolts for an LSD I added way back - maybe a Quaife. Makes sense that the LSD flange may be thicker than the open diff?

Open diff bolts,early, 915 332 276 04, 17.4mm, 90 lbs TQ
LSD and late open diff bolts (84) w/slots for lock plates, 928 332 276 03, 21.5mm, 120 lbs
LSD bolts w/ribs, 928 332 276 05, 21.5mm, 150 lbs
996 GT3 bolts w/ribs, 950 332 983 03, 22.7mm, 150 lbs
928 diff bolts w/slots, 928 332 276 00, 24.8mm, 120 lbs. we used these with 2mm spacer when installing 7:31 R&P on late carrier with 8:31 carrier offset, sadly NLA.
These part numbers have probably superseded.
