Classic Retrofit Electric AC- Drier Bottle replacement choices stateside
Emailed Jonny as well, but thought I'd post here to see if I can get some guidance from the group.
My 77 is at Rennsport in Sealy and we installed the 2 condenser setup on my 77. Unfortunately the mechanic informed me that it lost a good bit of the refrigerant overnight. Looks like it is leaking around the sight glass on the drier. I know Jonny has a new drier bottle available on his UK site to purchase. Thought I'd ask if there is an alternate drier we can purchase here in the US vs. waiting for one to be shipped from the UK, considering the lead times for shipping. Could I use a universal drier as long as the fittings are the same? Emailed Jonny as well, but thought I'd post here to see if I can get some guidance from the group. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc. would be great, thanks!! Jake G

As long as it's the same fittings a universal drier will be fine.

Confirmed. Any generic drier with #6 o-ring fittings (which is most of them).
