I'm on HD / Sports. It is like night and day having new struts.

Okay, rejoinders from those with Sports all around? Are the fronts over-damped for your car? Why did you choose Sports F instead of HDs F?

I have all Sports on order but I guess I could return the fronts for HDs.

and to follow up, if the car is lowered, does that make a stronger case for sports all around? Wayne's book make that statement, but I'm intrigued by the hd-front/sport-rear approach. Reminds me of some of the tweaks I used to do on my bicycles (ie running different front/rear hubs, drivetrain, etc).

Excellent description of sagging bushings, but I think you meant to say that when bushings sag..the even spacing is lost via closing up the gap on the top,.... not the bottom ...... ( as car sits on the ground and the bushings are loaded in *that* direction)
