Wiper Assembly 22mm nuts Torque
So for the two 22mm nuts that hold the windshield wiper assembly to the front cowl, the ones that hold the shafts that the wiper arms bolt up to, what is the torque for these to get the right squeeze on the rubber bushing pairs? Bentley just says "installation is reverse of removal."

Not sure this is helpful: Why I reassembled my '75 I don't remember torquing those to a specific value at all - just tightening by feel until they seemed well-seated. I did give the rubber bits a light coating of silicone grease first.

I abandoned this thread! Woops!
Thanks for the feedback. I have them snugged up now and once the wipers are back on I'll see if they're snug enough. Maybe leave some water sitting around the gasket and see if it drips.
