Targa Interior Carpet SC vs LWB

Hi all,

I met a fellow enthusiast at Luft this past weekend who has a 1978 SC Targa with a haargarn salt and pepper carpet that seems to be correct for a LWB targa year. Would it be possible to swap the interior carpet plus lining into the LWB or is there fitment issues with that?

I was about to purchase a new carpet set but seeing as I will be repainting my LWB sooner rather than later I figured this would be a good temporary solution.

If your car is a coupe then a Targa set won't be correct. Targas are cut differently as the interior structure is slightly different

Yes sorry I should have clarified that it’s SC targa -> LWB targa. Thanks for confirming. Had 2 other friends also say the same thing. I will bite the bullet and go for it and keep you posted
