Very cool, unfortunately also almost impossible to get tires for. No one makes that 285 40 15 size anymore unless you want racing tires or slicks

Yeah but you could just sit indoors gently petting them.

(snicker)

there have been some real zingers on the board today. Those wheels are gorgeous. I've got a set that size (BBS, not Fuchs)...tires appear to be down to P-Zeros and leftover stock of AVS-Is.

If you are prepared to go oversize on the tyre, Ernie's Alloys in Miami at 305-6870028 has some NEW Yokohama tires in size 345-35zr15. I just bought some off him, maybe I need another set now!

May I ask what he's charging? That's the size my BBSs are currently wearing.

my zany idea for the day...

if someone really wanted to run these on the streets do you think one could buy slicks and have someone handcut the tread??

I know this sounds ridiculous, but don't some race teams have technicians hand cut the tread...just a thought...

I have no idea on cost...or even if it is worth the money...

they look friggin cool
