964 piston

I am looking for used 100P36 piston for a 964NA, hard to find but I have got a offer for 100P40W2 piston, they look similar, most obvious difference is that the oil ring is more narrow. Anyone as know this piston and what car they was used on?

hi avorkinn,
Picture of what you need might be helpful. There is a early and late version of 964 factory piston ( the later had a grove between 1st and 2nd ring. I do not think there was any difference in the ring package. The number you list looks like casting number and not part number. If we are talking aftermarket piston then totally different story.
