2017 991.2 Base Steering wheel airbag retaining Frame

I am attempting to upgrade my steering wheel. I am having trouble removing the airbag retaining frame. The 3 torx bolts are locked in place, and I am afraid of striping the heads. Does anyone have any experience removing these? I have tried heat, impact, tapping to wake them up, and plain old force.

As a last resort, maybe cut a groove across the heads and use a large screwdriver? You're getting close to needing to drill them out, which isn't the worst thing, I'm sure you can find the torx bolts.
