Need picture of throttle bracket in engine bay

Hello,

I beleive that at least one of the throttle return spring broke/went on a walk about in my 1980 911 SC...

Could someone with a similar car please post a picture of the area in the engine bay where the throttle cable arrives so that I can check what I am missing?

Thanks,
Cyrille

These pics are from a '74 but they may help. There are two springs:

This shows the "short" throttle spring and at the bottom mid-left you can just see where the "long" return spring attaches to the top of the bell crank. The other end of this long spring attaches to a tab on the bottom of the middle intake runner.

this pic shows the bell crank where the long spring attaches:

These are from an '84, so the throttle may be different.

The '74 and '79 CIS linkage appear to be the same.

Well, then your bottom spring has gone ;-)

They do break, why I allways wave a spare in my glovecompartment.

This... you can see the hole in the bell crank where the long spring is supposed to be.
