Which RSR kit is best?
I recently pulled the trigger on a 78 tub with the hopes of building a high quality 74 RSR.
The two kits I am looking at is the EB one and the FVD kit. Does anyone have experience with either? FVD: https://www.fvd.net/us-en/FVD500911RSR/widebody-conversion-kit-911-930-1974-89-1974-30-l-rsr-tribute-grp.html EB: https://eb-motorsport.com/shop/74-rsr-rear-arches-ducting/ Cheers, John |
FVD is a reseller, they have no parts that they actually developed....
I can't tell you they source that part collection from... |
Get it from the source for many resellers.

EB was my choice at first. They just made an RSR replica so I think all their molds are newish. Rothsport is their official importer in the USA, so they can handle the import parts shipping and all that.
I ended up finding molds locally and will be pumping out a few test pieces. Where are you located John? |
I used EB on my "Schtroumpf" build... Pretty good, but still needed work to really make fit properly... But, I reckon that will be the case no matter where you source...

I have a suspicion but can't confirm that DP Motorsport is the original maker of the composite parts FVD sells. But there's a slight chance I suppose...
Anyone have any experience with DP Motorsport? In particular their Carbon/Epoxy parts? |
I thought these guys were the original manufacturers for most of the resellers. Anybody heard of/had experience with them?
