Exaust questions

I need a new muffler on my 71 S 911. I am running Webber carbs with dual K & N filters, so the iar flow in is quite good. I have been considering the Bursch or the Ansa oe style mufflers. I have been warned that aftermarket pipes might reduce performance and I don't want that to happen! I also considered the Manta muffler but don't really want the dual out layout, too much body modification. Any help on this topic would be appreciated as my stock muffler is just plain worn out, and louder than hell! Thank you all.

OK.. then all I can say is that the carbs allow a wide variety of muffler choices.. so it becomes a subjective answer.. like, what do you like?...............Ron

Dual-in dual-out polished stainless steel Dansk!

considered the dual-dual, but I don't want to modify the right bumper panel, so I know I'm gonna stick with the single out.

OK, so it's my understanding that the adjustability of the carbs pretty much allow me to go with whatever I like, whether it be a Bursch, Manta, Dansk, Ansa, or whatever else. That's good news, but now I need feedback as to what is good, damn, another problem now! (ha ha)
