Question Which CIS Fuel Injection book do you recommend?

I want to pick up a book on CIS fuel injection so I can better understand and troubleshoot the system on my car. I have a K-basic (no oxygen sensor) setup. Can anyone recommend which book to buy, our host carries a couple. Thanks!

I have the blue one as well. It will not explain the k-jet for the 911 specifically, so you need to constantly translate some things stated in the book to what you have. But all functionally theories are the same. So the idea of how it works is still well understood.

Whichever book you get remember that Porsche hangs on added things like the deceleration valve and the AAV which most CIS books I've seen don't cover. The deceleration valve can cause idle problems and the AAV causes the dreaded startup backfire. These added items will make some of the troubleshooting charts in these books incomplete.

Also, these books are written for water cooled engines which have different (slower) warm-up characteristics and Porsche’s present warm-up problems that I’ve not seen on other CIS based cars I’ve owned.

I have them both and found the manual on the right more helpful.
Good luck,
