Driver's door lock won't engage
While I have the door panels off I noticed my driver's door lock won't engage. I push on the fork and it won't move. The door lock tumbler moves freely between the fork ends. I've tried it with the door latched engaged and not engaged with the same result.
Any suggestions?

Not sure I am tracking. Is your lock tumbler spinning and not locking or unlocking the door? If so, it may be that the lock arm that screws to the inside of the lock tumbler is either broken off, OR may have come unscrewed. Reach down into the bottom of the door and feel if you have any parts down there.

No, when I try to manually move the fork forward or back it won't move.

As I understand it the door can't be locked when it is open. If you close the door will it lock normally?

No, it cannot be locked whether the door is open or closed.
