head stud nut size
Hi,
i'm preparing for a valve job and i d like to also check head studs are torqued correctly. can anyone please tell wich allen size i need? is there any other specific tool you use to do this job? Engine is a 1973T |

I believe It’s a torx head. T50 or T55 on my 1972

Thank you all for the help.
Just bought a 10 mm Allen socket with different extensions ... Dpmulvan, yes I mean valve adjustment and I already have a bent feeler gauge (p213b). I only had to bend it at 90° to be able to slide it between the valve stem and the adjustment screw. F.

Yes, I've read a lot o review about this tool and it seems very useful ... but I think I prefer the old method.
I 've done the previous valve adjustment with the help of the famous "Kirk engine valve lash tool" and now I just want to check if gaps are still in specs or not (strangely my engine has developed a clackety-clack sound so I am hoping it's just a valve out of specs more than a worn valve guide) Let's keep finger crossed
