Late model question?

I know this is a late model 993, but can anyone tell me if this a factory option and give me your opinion on the look.

Thanks

(I think I’ve been bit!!!)

No. By the way, the invisible car in the James bond movie was not real. And it was definately NOT a Porsche factory option.

But it was so cool! I so wanted one. Heres the pic.

Are you questioning whether it's a factory cab? I believe they made factory cabs in the 993 cars. I'm sure someone will know for sure. I looks like it has a turbo tail but I'm quite sure no turbo cabs were ever made in the 993 years.

Well since you asked for opinions on the look.....It looks like a chickmobile to me. Sorry but you asked. :D

It was the tail I was asking about, I know the car is factory. I'm still undecided about a cab or an "S". I know I want a 96 or a 97 maybe a 98 if it's in the budget.

The 76 will keep for the track!

Dump the cab ideas. Two thumbs up on the 2S or 4S. A friend of mine just bought a 98 4S with the aero package. Can't go wrong with one of those.

No, the tail and wheels are not original for '95-'98 type 993.

John Velasco 06-02-2003 08:25 PM

OK on the cab. What do we think about sun Rufs (sorry just a porsche slip).

I'm sure you could remove the tail.

John Velasco 06-02-2003 08:32 PM

I know that I really would like a convertible but I also know that I would have a better car in a 2 wheel drive “S”. I also know it has to be air cooled!
