80sc dist. vac. hose's

There are two ports on the back of the throttle housing,one above the throttle and one below, my [wur] is connected to the port on the front of the throttle housing,my question is which port on the back is for advance and which one is for retard, is it correct the outer connection on the dist. is advance? HELP!

With the throttle closed, vacuum would be higher on the bottom side of the throttle plate. When the throttle plate is open, vaccum would increase on both sides but I think it would still be higher on the lower side because of the throttle plate restriction.

So, my answer would be top retard/bottom advance if that makes sense.
