>HI, I have a issue with the air flow security contact or air flow switch 911 110 929 00. This contact produce a resistance of 950 or 1050 ohmios, which are not enough to cut the ground contact in the 85 pin of pump release; then the pump stops, even on route, an the engine fall off or the engine runs with the starter but fall off when the key return
Sometimes it reaches 1350 ohmios, and then works fine and the engine start I can not find this part in Pelican or PORSCHE AG directly, someone can help me? When can I to find it? Somer one know the Bosch reference for this part? There is a alternative item or electric diagram modification? Thanks in advance for your help. ![]() |

Found it on Pelican, but NLA, maybe contact them just on the remote chance they could have a Bosch #. I also saw this site, which cross references lots of parts, maybe he can help. Any numbers on the part?

Two-wire AMP plug.........
Quote:
Albarran, The air flow sensor plug is a two-wire plug that connects two terminals (both ground contacts).
The ground continuity breaks up when you lift up the sensor plate. There is a spring adjustment at the bottom of AFM (airflow meter) to produce better ground contact. You can do the testing at terminal #85 (FPR socket) using a a 12-volt test light. If you look very closely at the two-pins @ the connector/plug, you will find one at cylinder 1-2-3 side and another at 4-5-6 side. The 1-2-3 pin is insulated and isolated from the AFM. While pin 4-5-6 is grounded to the AFM body. There is also a screw and spring contraption below the sensor plate. Best way to understand what I am describing is look and inspect the AFM (air flow meter). Use a 12-volt test light to test your continuity. Tony Last edited by boyt911sc; 02-02-2023 at 05:46 AM.. |

As you probably know, pump will/should run all the time (like '76 and earlier) if you disconnect that switch entirely (disabling the switch entirely). Or mix it up with the CSV connector...
Just FYI, this Rennlist thread has FSM screencaps of the procedure to check correct operation of the switch: https://rennlist.com/forums/911-forum/1031122-cis-experts-only-help-wanted.html Googling 911.110.929.00, there are a few hits. Including a supplier showing a used one in stock, if yours cannot be cleaned or convinced to work. I guess scavenging a working switch off another AFM would be an option. Good luck!

Diagnose and Troubleshooting...........

ALBARRAN, Buying and installing Lorne’s AFS assembly will not guarantee to fix your problem. You need to know and identify the culprit/s to solve your problem. Determine what is causing your problem and I will give you the parts you need. Tony |
