Vacuum connector question...
1986 911 Coupe here -
Looking for this part (yellow arrow): ![]() ...found this from Pelican and wondered if someone could verify this is the correct part/size? 4mm... https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/9P1129487.htm?pn=9P1-129-487-M253&bc=c&SVSVSI=0586 Some info I have found show it for later year models... Cleaning up the engine and this part is obviously old and very rigid. Not the best seal. Thanks everyone - Erik

Hi Erik- That is the correct part number (4mm dimension) for an '86. The old part number for 1986 was 92857471702 (per the PET) and it has been superseded. As an aside, our host also sells the Porsche branded part...

Make sure the damper isn't leaking while your in there, mine just kicked the bucket and the engine is an '87. leaked gas into the vacuum causing hard start and rich mixture.
