Problem identifying this part in the PET
Hello to All & Happy (Belated) Presidents Day to our American brothers & sisters
Could someone please provide me with a p/n for this part from the front fender(s) - L & R headlight harnesses for a 1970 911T. I require only the replacement gasket or its ident. number or part description (both sides) for this portion of the harness assembly. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1677017801.JPG Headlight harness - general arrangement http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1677018093.JPG Unknown name for, and/or P/N mystery piece & its required gasket. Any help is most appreciated. I'll post this in the 911S registry also. Thanks & Cheers JB |
Sorry. PET only lists the left and right as "harness for headlamp".

You can always measure the gasket and replace it with general rubber weather stripping of similar size. Cut to length and superglue it into a circle.

Large o rings or some old vacuum cleaner belts, along with replacement belts for rock tumblers make good gaskets. Also McMaster Carr has solutions.

So far, it appears the best & perhaps the only option is to fabricate a gasket from some suitable material. Thanks for your input guys - much appreciated.
