WEVO shifter lever swap from stock

I bought a nice used black WEVO shifter lever only for my 915 tranny!! I love the quality and look of it, I do notice just a side by side comparison it seems a tad bit higher than my stock setup?? My question is can I just do a swap of the shift lever itself without the other WEVO hardware?? I currently have a stock short shift setup, I love it but not sure I want or need the extra height of the WEVO if I have to buy all the other components to make work?? I do understand the 5th gear and reverse lockout feature of other shift levers, this WEVO has none of them features, anyone make it work with just the WEVO shift lever "stick" swap out from a stock lever?? Any insight would be helpful, not sure I want to take the plunge on a Full system or just stay where I am at?? I love current setup, I was looking for a little more height, this may be more than I was looking for with more work than anticipated. Let me know.
Thanks

So, if I understand correctly, you bought just the Wevo shift lever without the base/pivot that has the reverse lockout? If so you have a nice paperweight at the moment, you need a complete Wevo shifter kit.
Try contacting Wevo to see if you can buy the rest of the kit seperately.
