Best 911SC Restoration Shop in Chicago area

Anybody have any suggestions for a good, reliable restoration shop in the Chicago area?

Looking for a body off restoration, including paint, some interior, usual mechanical but probably not a complete tear down on the engine but obviously a full check of the internals, replacement of worn parts, seals, etc.

The car is a 1978 911SC with no rust but requiring someone who obviously knows what they are doing. Hoping for a few suggestions from fellow Pelicans.

There plenty of shops in Chicago and the surrounding burbs but I wouldn’t go to any one them because they’re all obscenely overpriced and will take you for a fool. Go to Wisconsin or Indiana or the far suburbs. Stay away from any of the city or city adjacent shops.

Idon't have any recommendations (though I live in Chicago), but for the amount of money a full restoration would cost, I would add to Showdown's suggestion and suggest you consider shops that aren't in the city or nearby but are still close enough that you can reasonably drive there to check on the car. You'll probably be happier with the right shop, wherever it is, than the-right-shop-among-those-that-are-right-here.
