Airflow meter gasket mounting screw and springs

Ok I’ve seen this before, but can’t find the right search combination. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I’m replacing the gasket between the air flow meter and the air box. What is the procedure on tightening the Allen bolts with the springs? I remember reading a specific procedure but can’t seem to find it.

Thanks and sorry if I’m describing this wrong!

Ok finally got a little traction searching. Doesn’t seem that this is super critical as long as it seals well enough to keep dirty air from by passing the filter. Makes sense since it’s before the metering plate that it has no effect on performance or vacuum. I’m going to go with snug, but still allow spring to compress a little

Run the screws down until the spring coils touch each other, then back out 1 turn. There has to be some room for the airflow meter to rise in case of backfire. The spring tension will keep the screws from loosening further.
