Ca. Festival of speed (day two)
Another great day at the races, watched the big boys practice and tune. I tried to get close to the legend Hurley Haywood but no dice. I had to take a number. David Donahue was tearing it up, I figure his car is the one to beat.
About noon Brad Roberts (SSI) asked if I could go pick up a fresh rebuilt GT-3RS engine, I said sure, where is it? Porsche Motorsports, next to Andials. Three and a half hours later i got back. I didn't care, just to have possession of that engine for a short while was worth it. I was making engine noises as I drove down the freeway pretending that engine was pushing me. BTW there was a red 959 up on the rack as Andial, hadn't seen that one before. Here's some pictures to drool over, all I need is to pick the right 6 numbers.....
