Spark plug wire testing - dumb question

No idea how old my Beru plug wires are... no major running issues but have an ever so slight hesitation at light constant throttle. I'd like to check the wires to make sure they are "good" rather than arbitrarily replace because they look old. Done the plugs and cap / rotor recently.

So what that's simplest, easy way to test them?

1). I have a multi meter and can check resistance. Is there a certain figure range to look for or do I just need a consistent reading among all of them or will it vary a bunch due to the different lengths?
2). Running at night and look for arcing in the dark?
3). Any other ways test without crazy high tech tools (oscilliscope, fancy meters, etc...)

Spray bottle of water and a dark setting to look for arcing. Diluted salt water even better as it’s more conductive.
