EPS Fan and housing
I'm looking to buy a new fan and housing for my 3.2 build. I see EPS makes the fan and housings in aluminum. Anyone one here use these items and can confirm quality ?
Thanks, https://www.europeanpartssolution.com/alternator-aluminum-fan https://www.europeanpartssolution.com/alternator-updated-aluminum-fan-housing |

I bought a set and was pleased with them.
I think the genuine magnesium parts might be available again for a reasonable price.

EPS fan on my 3.2 about a year + ago.
Good fit, just cleaned and clearcoated and oven baked. Looks great.

Reviving this thread to ask if anyone else has good things to say about the EPS fans. I'm thinking about replacing the chipped fan on my '81 one of these days...

EPS aluminum fan here. I think it's clear coated. 2 years later still looks brand new. Quality was excellent. Shipping updates ... not as good. But it came in a week or two.

Just a caution for future searches, EPS says this fan is good for all models from 1974-1989, including the 1978 and 1979 SCs.
But those years use a 225mm fan, so if you want to go EPS you will also need to buy the 245mm fan housing. And I think you will need a different alternator, or at least an adapter, if you switch to the 245mm housing. I suspect the aluminum housing weighs a lot more too - Zims says the difference is 11 lbs Al vs 2.7 lbs Mg. Mark
