‘85 911 Sway Bar Bushings
When replacing the sway bar drop links and bushings on my ‘85 911, I quickly discovered a previous owner retrofitted the original 18mm sway bar with a 21mm bar (911.701.11 which I believe is for ‘87 - ‘99?). The old bushings are 477.411.313D.
I can find 21mm 447.411.313 M bushings but not 21mm 447.411.313 D. Questions: What is the difference between M and D bushings? Are they interchangeable? Thank you! ![]() ![]() |

I did find the D here at Pelican: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/477411313D.htm?pn=477-411-313-D-INT
But if you look at Sunset Porsche parts, they have the M version and it says it replaces the D. So I think you are fine with the M. Mark

I must have fat-fingered it when I did a Pelican search. Thank you, Mark!
