1978 911 hot start

Sometimes when hot it turns over for ages before starting. Been told it’s just something Porsches do😩 . Then last week end it got worse when I slowed for my gateway from 100kph it stalled , restarted as I let the clutch out but kept stalling. Pulled up at home and it would not start, left it for ten minutes and it started fine and was able to park it in my shed with no problem. Any ideas?

Start with checking your residual fuel pressure after shutoff after 10min and 30min. Should be holding near 20psi.
