CIS Issue
The cars starts fine but after I turn the engine off and restart it it goes to and sits at about 3000 Rpm. I suspect the CIS needs work due to too much fuel being available after shutting the engine off. Any input appreciated.

Do a fuel pressure test

Vacuum leak. Probably this leak or another smaller one already persists longer. That could have been "solved" in the past by a "new setup" which covered that first vacuum leak by enrichen the mixture.
Now either a new vacuum leak is now added or the old one is being closed on higher temperatures and mimics its closure by increased idle in the case of a hot restart or sth like that. Only surely detectable by a smoke generator. |
