?mixture adjustment and idle adjustment
Hi, I'm a newbie '83 911SC trying to pass emission in Northern Virgina. I'm trying to lean my fuel mixture and also decrease idle speed (currently at around 1100rmp). I would appreciate if someone would indicate on the picture where to locate the adjustment screws (and direction of the turn) to lower mixuture and idle speed. Thank you!

This picture is the rear of the engine and shows the idle adjustment screw located on the right side of the throttle body When looking from outside engine compartment the idle screw is on the left side of the throttle body. The idle adjustment is the screw with the sping. The mixture adjustment is in a hole on the top of the throttle body and the hole may be plugged. Looking from the rear of the car it is located just right of the fuel distributor and just left of the rubber ribed hose. This picture does not show the mixture adjustment. Your first picture shows the approximate location of the mixture adjustment hole.
