Factory leather when new matte, or gloss finish?

Hi all,

Looking to redo my seats as per factory specification and would just like to know if the later model 3.2s (87-89) came with glossy finish or matter from factory?

Thanks

It would be helpful if you added your location in your Id on the left of your post.
You should call a master upholsterer such as Tony At Heritage Upholstery or Tony at Autobahn (yes, two Tonys!), both who are experts on Porsches. And remember, most leather gets shiny with use.
Cheers,
Johan

HI Johan, I think you read my question wrong. Not looking recommendations. Looking to know the finish of the seats when new to get them as similar as possible.

More of a satin finish. If you want to recreate them, have them match the back seats; nobody really sits in those, and not for very long if they do.

Good idea. I thought alot of the older cars were more of a glossy leather. Newer cars tend to have the matte finish
