83 SC - Part identification please
83 SC stock engine here. While removing air filter, I noticed this piece was wobbling/loose. What is it, what does it do, and should I secure it?

Thank you ammonman! I completely forgot that my car has cruise control. I've never ever used it during ~ 13 years of ownership; don't think I even turned it on, or tested it out.
Should I bother securing it, tightening it up? Quote:
