Removing AC bracket without dropping muffler

Is it possible to remove the AC bracket without taking the muffler off on an 88 911? My mech mentioned that I do not need to take it off, and I should have yanked this when the engine was out - what was I thinking?

Looking at other threads, it looks like with some skinny wrenches I should be able to remove the last two bolts going from below, and the 8mm hex under the top plate. Doable? Or should I be drug tested on this?

Bracket

I think you have answered your question.
No need to remove anything in advance.

I recently re-installed my bracket and had to drop the muffler to do it. I think you will struggle without dropping it

I took my bracket off w/o removing the muffler. I did have to undo the mounting straps on the muffler and remove the crossover pipe for the heat exchangers. I could then access the two (I think) bolts holding the aluminum AC bracket to the steel bracket surrounding the crank pulley. —Dave
