Another AAR question...
I called the dealer today to order a new AAR (Wayne, it's NLA) and they quoted me, get ready for this, $806.87 !!! I was looking to use my PCA to get that and all my tuneup parts and easily clear the 200 dollar mark... Does anyone have access to the Porsche Part number that correspondes to the boschp art number 0280140218? At least that's what I read with a mirror, stamped just below the BOSCH logo. This is for an 83 911.
Thanks! Tony |
The Porsche part number SHOULD be 911.606.102.04 for US cars
|
Hmmm ... That might explain it. The part guy told me it was 911.606.102.5 ! Do you know what part that may be? Thanks so much!

Hmmm... I'm showing the Porsche part no. to be 911.606.102.08 but it is superceeded by 911.606.102.10.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/untitled34.jpg Oddly enough, the Pelican Parts website does list an .09 AAR for your car, but alas, it's NLA (see website link below). You might give Pelican a call and see if they can get the .10 part for you. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_fuelCI_pg10.htm#item19 Regards, |
I'm going to try the dealer again Monday morning and get to the bottom of why the quote was so high. I'll give them the .09 and .10 part numbers for reference. Thanks to all for your help. BTW, is the screen shot you show the same app the dealer uses?

Tony,
Yes, I have a copy of the PET system and that's where the screenshot came from. It should be the same thing your dealer uses to look up parts. Best of luck, |
