Lightweight Wiper motor
Guys,Sure i saw a thread here regarding replacing standard wiper motor with a lightweight version (VW Polo?) Ive searched and cant find it.However,with my computer skills, thats not unusual.Anyone have any recall about this?

Curious. Would love to know the relative weight of the two...and the total potential savings of deleing the rear wiper and related parts. I have always loved rear wipers (useful when you have to back out of a steep driveway in the rain), but I am pretty motivated to save weight...especially in the rear...if it is reasonable to assume the rear wiper motor is in the rear? Thanks coomo and all.

Yes, same here. The windshield is roughly the same angle as a motorcycle helmet and those don’t have wipers. Good thing there are not too many bugs around here….
