Is there a NO EXCUSES / high-end shop in the tri-state area?

Does it exist? A place that is meticulous, knowledgeable, exercises caution in the way they treat your vehicle (it won't be returned filthy from being stored outside or with new door dings), and they do the job right the first time? In NY, NJ, LI or CT? Is this a pipe dream? I haven't found it yet.

Gaswerks - gaspare’s shop in paramus behind paramus Lamborghini is about as close as you’ll find.

I wouldn’t eliminate auto associates in canton CT or speedsport in Danbury. But both of those are more likely to leave your car outside if you leave it there too long.

Manhattan Motorworks or South Shore Performance on LI are each of interest to me, any preferences from anyone?

I would go to Speedsporttuning. You might even see them working on a 4 cam, the engine that requires the most meticulous work in the world.

Although I haven't been there myself, I got a few recommendations from people on this forum for Bill Rudtner at South Shore Performance. Good luck.

Dave Hammers - Werks 1 in Sea Cliff, NY. Small shop, his son Mike assists him. After a disappointning experience at a different shop, I've found them to be knowledgeable and capable.
