Bench Testing FPR and Damper?

1984 3.2L. I currently have the fuel pressure regulator and fuel damper out of the car, as I’m replacing the engine bay fuel lines. I’m wondering if there’s a way to bench test the FPR and damper before reinstalling. Any thoughts? These items are pricey and so I’d rather not just replace them without testing, especially since car is running fine. Thanks!

fpr can be found for about $150 or under, damper was a different story but I went with one that has replaceable membrane and is made from billet aluminum. That was $275 from 928srus

FPR

Well links no longer work as it looks like pelican blocks competitors.
