Interior Carpet needed.

Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend a company that sells complete carpet sets for a 1978 911 Sc. There is a company called Heritage Trim in Canadas and USA. Called them multiple times but no one calls back.. Thanks in advance !! Cheers Damon.

www.lakewell.com

Tried two USA sources, both failed quality and accuracy. (Wrong year twice!)

Lakewell Classic Car Interiors was superior, Porsche quality and cheaper to my door, from Belgium!!

Here's another recommendation for Lakewell. Superb quality and excellent service.

There was someone out your way looking not too long ago as well. I have an 83 cab and did a rear seat delete. I couldnt get an RS kit for a cab so found a local marine guy who made & installed carpet for my car. Very happy with the fit and install. I was able to pick the type of carpet so knew the material before hand.

I am just now in the process of installing a German squareweave carpet in my '69 project. Purchased from K&H Upholstery in LA. I've not completed the installation but have fitted all of the pieces and can say that the quality is excellent and the fit is also excellent. Carpet install always requires a lot of cutting and massaging of the pieces, but the starting point of this set is great. Quality of the material, stitching and fitment all good.

Ask for Tim, customer service was great and wait time is not too bad.

Bill

Lakewell makes and STANDS behind their products. We did the interior and it turned out very well. Take your time. Watch their mixed language videos on installation. It is easy and will turn out according to the effort you put into it! Adhesive is very forgiving and do NOT make the mistake of using "more". A little is all that is necessary to get the pieces to adhere, and then they take on a pre-molded shape after a bit. Enjoy!

Does Lakewell make the shag-style (not really shag, but the nap is pretty long) carpet that's spec'ed for the late 70s?

Absolutely. Literally finished installing the entire carpet kit this weekend. Some instructions would have helped .. eventually figured it out. Super happy with the quality. Lakewell was great to deal with. Super fasts shipping to Canada as well. I would definitely recommend them.

Tried Lakewell, couldn't even get a reply! Went with 914 Rubber, haven't picked it up yet.

That's odd. Being on the west coast, there is definitely a time difference. But I had a great experience dealing with Lakewell. They replied to my emails within a day or two. Shipping was fast. I ordered a complete carpet kit and other interior parts from them. That's unfortunate to hear..

Just ordered the Lakewell kit for my 87 coupe project. Small step towards a larger project, but should keep my momentum up.
