911 SC, is there a way to delete the factory oil filter?

Are there any kits or ways to remove (bypass) the factory 911 sc oil filter?
I have no need for the filter and would like to reduce weight and clean up my engine bay.
Thanks in advance

Just out of curiosity, why do you think you don’t need the Factory filter?

I have a 3.6 conversion, the 993 engine has a filter and the sc body has a filter. I have no need for two

Outside of replacing the tank, i'd say keeping a filter is the easier way to go. Double filtration is not an issue I guess.

993's have two oil filters, one on the engine and one on the oil tank.

Actually, you do need two. The one on the engine is on the pressure side and the one on the tank is on the return side. You really want both. The 993 came from Porsche with two oil filters.
