Wanted in NNJ…expert in wiring of ‘85 911

looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of the electrical wiring, electrical components in a 1985 911 located in Northern New Jersey

mirrors no longer tilt and oil level gauge pinning full. mirrors i’ve been dealing with for 2 years, not the motors… and gauge just started.. did some troubleshooting shooting and do not belive it’s the sender at this point

Find and clean all your grounds on your 38 year old car .

There is probably a ground near the drivers left foot for both items you mention.

Also (just had to do this) remove, clean, and replace all your old and corroded fuses.

My 84 is starting to act up and it’s just corrosion and ground.

this doesn’t show any grounds at the left foot area only behind fire wall. did you mean there are 2 inside the car at drivers side?

This is the ground point locations for a 928. Not sure what year the 911 diagram is that was posted by grb008, but it does not match the ground points of 85 in my factory service manual Current Flow Diagram. pages 97-31 through 97-61. If you don't have copies of the Porsche Work Shop Manual let me know your email and I'll send you some PDFs.
