964/993 interior, need pics

Hi!

Could anyone post a pic of the knobs (fog light, cig. lighter etc.) in a 964 and 993?
Are these of a smaller diameter then those in a 83 SC?
Could they be used in a 83 SC?

Tom

tom,

i have a 964 and an 82 sc so i may be able to help...it may take a few days though because the wife just gave birth to our second child, and our house just sold so things are a bit crazy right now...

from memory, there isnt a whole lot different on the interiors from 78-98. the heat/ac is different (control panel wise) but the rest of the dash is very similar if not the same...i will check for you though.

Ian,

What I'm really looking for is the three big round knobs on the dash. On my '83 SC they are Fog lights, Rear window heater & Cig. lighter.
I remember seeing some smaller (smaller diameter on the knobs) somwhere, but don't remember if it was in a 964 or in a 993. Not many Porsches around here, so I have nowhere to look ;-(

I have a Blaupunkt Los Angeles (at least I think it is... hehe bad memory) where the whole front flips down, not just an insert flipout like in my old Blaupunkt München. The Los Angeles flip touches the knobs, making it impossible to open/close. So I was wondering if it was possible to fit those smaller ones...?

Harald,
Yes, those are the ones I was looking for...
Is it a 993 or a 964?

Tom
