Question interior paint options

Hello!

I am ready to paint the interior of the Beast, a 73.5T coupe. The interior is completely stripped including the sound deadening stuff, headliner and everything inbetween. Nothing is going back in except seats and the pedal cluster. My question is.....

What type of paint would work for this application? I am on an extremely tight budget so money is an issue, but I still want it to look nice. I do have an HPLV gun. I was considering going to home depot and buying something for ~$8 per quart and going to town. Any opinions?

Thanks!
BK

Use automotive paint at the very least. No Home Depot.

I hand painted mine with satin black Hammerite, which is the equivalent of you POR-15, it looks great. My painter warns that if you use a spray gun inside the car you will stir up all the dust and muck, which will ruin the finish. If you are going to spray use aerosols which are much lower pressure
