replaced steering bushing

I just performed what has to be the easiest 911 maintenance, replacing the steering column bushing (assmuming you have all the right tools and nothing is stuck). 5 minutes including putting away the tools.

I bought the metal replacement/upgrade bushing from pelican and read all the posts concerning the installation but it went much easier than I expected.

A good pull on the horn button, off it came. One blip on the air impact gun, the nut was off, I made a mental note of the steering wheel orientation and then gave it it a yank, off it came.
Once to that point it was obvious what the problem was. The OEM plastic bushing was crumbled. A small screwdriver pushed it down. I grabbed the cir clip and off it came, the new bushing pushed into place with my thumbs. No pipe, no punches, no hammer. This made me nervous because I exprected it to me tighter. A grab and wiggle of the steering column calmed my nerves, it was nice and tight.
Installation was the reverse, nice, clean and quick.
Not my steering wheel is nice and precise, no noticeable slop at all.
