G model engine swap

Would a 964 engine fit into a G-model? I know a 3.0 and 3.2 are sometimes used as substitute to a 2.7 or 2.4 magnesium engine, but never read that the 3.6 is being used.

Yes, lots of folks have done this -- here's a thread that references several vendors that sell kits to assist with the conversion -- Dropping a 3.6 in my 86-best and ecconamical way to do it ?!
